ms. herman (class teacher) and ms. chung (intern teacher) decided to have a thanksgiving play. they were limited in time but did a wonderful job anyhow. the backdrop was created by ms. travis (teacher assistant) children.

this was a play about the pilgrims and the indians. the indians had to wear brown top and brown bottoms. the pilgrims wore a white top and black pants. headgears were provided.

normally, rhett would do well during rehearsals and at the actual performance he would be speechless. he may be hiding from the camera specially if he spots me. so i try to hide from him so he does not get shy and all.

this is the first play he had a speaking part and was quite confident about his lines. i was so happy and proud of him. very articulate too! i have a video clip to post later.

ms. chung is the amiable intern teacher. she is the most kind person with a gentle and soft voice. this was her last day with the class since she will devote her time caring for her new baby. she hopes to work with saes fulltime in the future.

rhett and i gave her a pretty quilted handbag for her books. she uses it for her baby’s stuff.
