i derived blog ideas from photos. this was taken at our living room in seoul, korea where we are stationed. i think the male and father/son bonding centers on sports and computers.
name it... psp, ps3, dsi, wii... techie toys populate the living room. remote controls all over the place. how many of those do we really need?
looking at these photos i cannot help but notice on how alike they are in mannerisms. the gaze. the intensity.
and even the gaping mouth. ha ha. even without his dad around you can see his dad in him. they both say "how come?" as part of their dialogue. they both lick their lips every so often. they are both very observant. more than the average joe.
how do they become really like the other? hard to say. it is just amusing when it becomes evident. i try not to say "you are just like your dad" to encourage having his own unique identity. nobody wants to be compared all the time.
